Recap of 2022
Growth
Our customers have grown in size and number and have doubled the Netris subscriptions we supported compared to last year. Our team is grateful and excited to see more customers trusting their mission-critical networks to Netris software.
Platforms
We have added Equinix Metal to our natively supported platforms list alongside Nvidia Networking and Edge-Core. Our SoftGate VPC Gateway is efficient and wanted in any environment where people are building and operating private clouds. Whether in a colo, at the edge, or on a bare-metal-as-a-service platform.
Verticals
We saw interest and adoption of Netris technology by private cloud builders and operators from various industries: gaming, advertising, finance, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS providers, government agencies, and military contractors.
Stack
As we learn through customers, whether they run applications over VMs, bare-metal servers, or Kubernetes — everyone values the simplicity and cost/time efficiencies they gain when they operate their private cloud networks using Netris.
Piracy
This year we even came across our first case of software piracy. While our sales and product teams are working this out, I take this as a compliment. “we have built something so valuable that some people risk their reputation to use it through piracy; wow!”
What’s next in 2023?
Upcoming Platform Integrations
We continue expanding into very exciting bare metal cloud providers, and PhoenixNAP is the next to get native integration of Netris VPC Networking software. Also, we are working on natively integrating with hardware vendors to add value to their private cloud buildouts, and Dell is the next platform in our roadmap.
Launching Video/Audio Content
We have started recording interviews where we nerd out with some of our users who are brilliant engineers, and we will be publishing a series of experience-sharing videos and podcasts beginning early next year.
Happy Holidays
The future is getting more amazing each year. And it’s all thanks to our fantastic customers, colleagues, partners, and investors.
While automatic and uncomplicated networking enables you to focus on the most important things to you.
May your holidays be filled with joy and your new year be filled with success.
