Senior DevOps/Integration Engineer – AI Infrastructure Platform

The Role

We are looking for an exceptional Senior DevOps/Integration Engineer to join the Netris team and work on developing the software packages, kubernetes-operators, and integration plugins that power modern AI infrastructure and cloud networking. This role requires deep technical expertise in Linux systems, networking, and Kubernetes, combined with strong software engineering capabilities. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining the Kubernetes operators, Terraform providers, Helm charts, and dozens of integration plugins that customers deploy in their own environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain Netris integrations across multiple platforms and technologies
  • Build and enhance Kubernetes operators, Helm charts, and custom plugins for Netris
  • Maintain Netris Terraform provider and modules
  • Design and implement new integration plugins for emerging technologies and partner platforms
  • Create packages, scripts, and deployment artifacts that customers install in their environments
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code for operators, providers, and integration plugins
  • Collaborate with customers and partners to identify integration requirements and to deliver seamless user experiences
  • Research and prototype integrations with new technologies and platforms
  • Provide technical expertise for integration deployments and troubleshooting

What We’re Looking For

  • Expert-level Linux administration – Deep understanding of system internals, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
  • Advanced Kubernetes knowledge – Cluster management, operators, custom resources, Helm charts, and networking
  • Strong networking fundamentals – TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, load balancing, and network troubleshooting
  • Software engineering skills – Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Go, Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Infrastructure as Code – Experience with Terraform provider development, Ansible, or similar tools
  • Container orchestration – Docker, Kubernetes controllers, and container networking
  • API development – REST APIs, gRPC, and integration patterns
  • 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, integration development, or infrastructure tooling
  • Proven experience building and maintaining Kubernetes operators and controllers
  • Experience with Terraform provider development and maintaining complex codebases
  • Background developing integration plugins and maintaining multiple software packages
  • Strong problem-solving skills across diverse technology stacks and integration patterns
  • Excellent communication skills for partner-facing technical discussions and collaboration
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and build robust, deployable solutions
  • Experience with software packaging, distribution, and deployment automation

Preferred qualifications

  • Background in Terraform provider development and HCL
  • Experience developing Kubernetes operators using operator-sdk
  • Experience with CloudStack, OpenStack, or other cloud orchestration platforms
  • Experience with Helm chart development and packaging
  • Knowledge of controller patterns and custom resource definitions (CRDs)
  • Background in network automation and SDN technologies
  • Experience with multiple cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructures
