Netris Elastic Load Balancer
Distribute network traffic to improve application scalability and availability in your private cloud.
Netris Elastic Load Balancing automatically distributes incoming application traffic across multiple targets, virtual appliances, or containers in one or more Netris-powered private cloud regions.
How will Netris Elastic Load Balancer benefit me?
Netris Elastic Load Balancer spins up automatically in your private cloud anytime engineers and applications need. It alleviates the need for integrating an additional load-balancing solution such as F5, Avi Networks, HAProxy, Metallb, or others. It utilizes the server resources of your Netris SoftGate (the VPC gateway) nodes, so there is no need for additional hardware or configurations. You can use the web console, IaC (Infrastructure as Code), or Kubernetes to request Netris Elastic Load Balancing services.
How can I use Netris Elastic Load Balancer today?
Netris Elastic Load Balancer can be used anywhere. The key component is Netris SoftGate (the VPC Gateway) which you can run on bare metal or a VM. In colocation, on-prem, and bare-metal-as-a-service regions SoftGate is usually run on two dedicated servers (with SmartNICs) per region and provides end-to-end network services functionality (routing, firewalling, load balancing, NAT, DHCP, and Site Mesh). In an office or small edge regions, SoftGate can run on a mini PC (Intel NUK or similar). In the AWS region, SoftGate runs on an EC2. Netris is free for trial.
